How it looks in practice

Public opinion survey

With the democratization of the Croatian political scene and the greater importance given to public relations by political parties, companies, governmental and non-governmental organizations, public opinion polls are becoming an important mechanism for preventing communication short circuits between the public and these entities.

Some examples of public opinion polls include:

- Survey of the rating of politicians and political parties
- Pre-election and post-election research
- Analysis of political messages
- Survey of citizens' trust in important social institutions
- Examining the perception of certain social topics

The basic methods we use to examine public opinion are:

In-depth polls

Thorough research of public perception of socially important issues. This research often serves as a benchmark for later analyzes of the development of public opinion.

Short polls

Surveys that last a very short time (about 5 minutes) and are conducted on a smaller sample, and serve to assess the basic trends in public opinion.

Tracking polls

Surveys that are conducted in very short periods and whose main goal is to assess the change in public opinion under the influence of important events.
