How it looks in practice

Methodology

Qualitative research

Such surveys are not conducted on large samples and do not result in solid figures that are statistically representative in relation to the population being surveyed. Their goal is to learn more deeply and thoroughly into the researched issues, generating as many ideas and concepts as possible. Sometimes qualitative research can serve as a pretest for more extensive quantitative research. The most commonly used qualitative methods are in-depth interviews and focus group interviews.

Quantitative research

This type of research, relying on probability theory and statistics, extrapolates the results obtained on a sample of respondents to the entire population. The aim of research can be to describe the situation or to establish cause-and-effect relationships between individual variables. This group of research includes experiments, as well as field, telephone, and postal surveys.

Audeo performs quantitative research on samples whose size and method of selection meet strict methodological criteria. Field surveys (face-to-face surveys) are conducted by well-trained fellow interviewers, while telephone surveys are conducted from a central location and entered directly into computers, which allows faster surveys and reduces the possibility of input errors. We have built a wide network of collaborators-interviewers, and we are making significant efforts to expand and maintain the quality of that network.
